Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift
What you get in return:
Rate - £17.34 per hour
12 hour shits - Day shift
6pm - 6am
20 days holidays + 8 days bank holidays
Food FMCG - Clean Environment
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the objective of this role is to attend any machine issue, determining whether the fault is mechanical or electrical and rectifying or escalating quickly. To ensure that temporary repairs are handed over properlyand in a timely manner. Utilise a can do attitude to ensure that improvements are identified and completed to a satisfactory level. This role is full time.
Essential skills:
Understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance
Pro Active approach
Good Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance
Diagnostics (PLC's, Drives, Gearboxes, Hydraulics, Pneumatic [air and vacuum])
Good communication skills (verbal and electronic)
Essential knowledge & qualifications:
Should be proficient in; Microsoft; Word and Excel.
Apprentice trained with a recognised engineering qualification to Level 3 in electrical
Behaviours:
Vision, flexibility and open to change
Ability to follow rules and boundaries, delegate, challenge and respectfully enforce
Should comply with, safety, technical and statutory requirements
Civil, M&E and Machinery should be fit for customer purpose
Must reduce reactance by detailed shift reporting, alignment, closure, and escalation
Able to plan and successfully implement maintenance quotas using a respectful, can-do approach.
Safe-guarding apprentices as applicable.
Clean as you go attitude
