**The Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To lead and manage a growing team of production employees to achieve daily production goals and objectives to meet our customer’s needs.
- Monitor and analyse production data to identify and resolve any issues that may impact productivity or quality.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance product quality, while maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and health regulations in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels and seamless production flow.
- Work cross-functional teams, including our Finance department, to achieve effective cost management and maximize return on investment, and collaborate with our New Product Development and in-house Technology/Maintenance teams to support product improvements, streamline processes, increase efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, support, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and improve performance.
- Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, addressing concerns or issues promptly and seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production rates, efficiency, and quality, to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

**Profile**:

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. operations management, industrial engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and address production-related issues.
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding production targets.
