As an SEO Assistant at Phase Electrical Distributors Limited, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to our website. You will work closely with our digital marketing team to implement SEO strategies and improve our website's search engine rankings. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about SEO and looking to contribute to the growth of a successful company, a specialist interest in technical SEO would be advantageous.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify technical SEO issues and propose effective solutions.
- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improved search engine visibility and organic traffic growth.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures to align with SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO optimisation in the creation of new website content.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and execution of SEO strategies to enhance our online presence.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog (or similar crawl software) & SEMrush.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and exceptional organisational abilities.
