Dining Room and Washup Assistant

As a Dining Room and Washup Assistant at a Perran Bay Care Home care home, you'll help to create a warm and comfortable environment, enabling us to meet each resident's personal needs.

With a large home, the Kitchen and Dining Room department is an integral part within the home.

The Dining Room and Washup Assistant tasks will vary at Perran Bay but each will ensure everyone has their meals created and delivered as per their requests, keeping the environment clean, tidy and welcoming. This means you'll have a direct impact on our residents, their visitors and all the staff working to support them.

The role comes with 20 hours per week, semi-set hours. It will mainly be 16:30-20:30 on Wednesday and Thursdays and 07:00-13:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, changing sometimes to cover annual leave and absences.

You will have a caring nature, personable approach and good practical skills. You should have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn about the individuals we support. You will be reliable and want to make a positive difference. In return for your dedication, you'll receive a competitive rate of pay and work within a positive team.
