As the fryer you will assist the F&B Manager with the running of the takeaway on our busy holiday park. Your primary duties will include, but not limited to, controlling and ordering stock, preparing produce for service, frying, serving customers and making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy. Uniform provided. Own transport essential due to rural location or accommodation may be available if required.

Fryer duties and responsibilities:

- To be able to work as part of a team
- To be able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Have good communication skills
- Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Active listening skills and good memory to carry out instructions as requested
- Excellent food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Rumbling and chipping potatoes.
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures as set out by the Food Standards Agency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 24 - 32 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
