**Garage Workshop Assistant**:
BHC is one of the UKs leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies, supplying, and erecting fabricated steel nationwide within the UK and Ireland.

We currently have a vacancy for a Garage Workshop Assistant, who will play an important role within our onsite garage.

**Key Duties include-**:

- Assist Mechanic with various tasks, including retrieving and delivering tools, parts and equipment as required.
- Assist Mechanics with Vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance as appropriate.
- Clean and organise the garage area, including sweeping and disposing of waste and Debris as necessary.
- Co-ordinate vehicle movement when required to facilitate repairs and inspections.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the garage and outdoor yard.
- Work and manage daily expectations in line with standard policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

**Skills and Experience-**:

- A team player with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components would be desirable.
- Ability to work using your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable.
- Driver’s License essential
