Comprising of historic buildings and beautiful gardens; vineyards, orchards; function rooms a winery, distillery and estate kitchens which produce genuine Jersey produce. The Estate offers the highest quality Weddings, Corporate Events, Tours and Tastings and produces a range of delicious products all made on the Estate. In addition to the main Estate, the company also has two retail outlets situated in King Street, and a joint venture with Jersey Pottery at the Airport selling products from the Estate range.

**1. Job Purpose: The Role**

The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible with supporting all aspects of accurate stock control, movement of stock around the business, labelling & packing all La Mare products and delivery of orders to our external stores & customers. The Warehouse Supervisor is required to assist in other areas of the business in terms of duties as and when required during peak times, and events on and off site. The individual will be responsible to keep their working areas clean and tidy.

This role will be responsible for the correct safe usage of and assisting with the maintenance of the forklifts, labelling machine and company van. The position is expected to adhere to all company policies regarding stock management processes, cleanliness and health & safety. Providing maintenance for equipment and reporting any malfunctions that cannot be repaired in a timely manner. Compliance with company green policy, and work practice is expected.

**2. Responsibilities - Accountabilities**

2.1 Weekly deliveries to our external sites and customs, twice during peak of the season 20-40% of the time.

2.2 Carrying out accurate weekly and quarterly stock takes 10-20% of the time.

2.3 Working closely with the production Supervisor to ensure stock levels do not dip below forecasted sales volumes, and perform packaging duties 40-60% of the time.

2.4 Maintain equipment, service equipment and be adaptable to repair anything relating to the role within reason. 10% of the time

2.5 Ensure high standards of work practice plus all health and safety policies are always upheld in all work areas.

**3. Skills - Knowledge - Experience**

3.1 Demonstrates an ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete and of a high quality standard.

3.2 Competently driving the company long van, with clean drive expedient and experienced van driver.

3.3 Have previous warehouse management experience in relation to stock control, packaging, and deliveries.

3.4 It’s desired, but not essential, the ability to drive the diesel and electric reach forklift, also any experience with agricultural machinery and grounds equipment, light engineering, and maintenance is going to be appreciated.

3.5 A creative and open-minded approach to problem solving.
