Head of Housekeeping

Overview:
Stowford Farm Meadows are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Housekeeping to join our team. As Head of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of our luxury cottages, hire fleet and park facilities. This is a key leadership role within our hospitality team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to established cleaning procedures and standards
- Assign daily tasks and monitor the progress of housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections of fleet and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or maintenance issues in accommodation or common areas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products used in a commercial environment
