Invoice Apprentice

The Scottish Midland Cooperative have an exciting opportunity for an apprenticeship within their Invoice team based at our Head Office in Newbridge.

Working for the Invoice Team is a superb learning opportunity for someone who would like to gain a variety of experience in a finance setting, while gaining an industry recognised qualification.

The apprenticeship will involve on the job training, education (through work-based learning) as well as the opportunity to demonstrate independent work skills and team working.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilising the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Processing and payment of invoices using internal systems
- Dealing with insurance claims
- Branch charging
- General administration duties including mail, photocopying and filing
- Utilise collaborative technologies to communicate with internal/external stakeholders

**Required Skills**:

- A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail and an orderly approach to processing
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident and enthusiastic

**Additional Information**:

- Fixed term - 12 months
- Working Hours - 37.5 per week, worked Monday to Friday.
- Core business hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm.
