We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Materials Management Officer to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for provision of a support services to users of the new Inventory Management Systems (IMS) ensuring stock usage is captured and all orders are processed in a timely manner, following all Trust policies and procedures and Health and Safety requirements.

With the implementation of new structures & systems and continued national developments this is an exciting time to be part of Procurement. ESNEFT Procurement is a progressive department, looking to integrate with clinical and operational colleagues, define innovative ways of working and delivering on financial target.

The Dame Clare Marx Building that will house our elective orthopaedic centre (ESEOC) opens in 2024 with a focus on elective orthopaedic surgery and day cases. The centre will have eight laminar flow theatres, three wards, recovery facilities, and support services including radiology and EBME.

Responsible for provision of a support services to users of the new Inventory Management Systems (IMS) ensuring stock usage is captured and all orders are processed in a timely manner, following all Trust policies and procedures and Health and Safety requirements.

The adoption of a flexible approach towards any supplies activities undertaken and a requirement to provide support where it is required on a daily basis including but not limited to

Delivering stock to multiple locations across the site

Receipting goods into the IMS

Supporting ordering by stores persons

Assisting operating theatres teams in the capture of implants at point of care

The operation of a range of tasks with a requirement for working in different locations throughout the Trust.
