In this wholly remote, part-time specialist role, you will attend virtually a range of Board meetings to take accurate minutes, summarise discussions and capture proposals and agreements. You will work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure a smooth and efficient recording of Board minutes and circulation.

You will be recording the minutes for the Board of Directors and working closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure a smooth and efficient recording and circulation of our Board minutes.

Your knowledge, experience and skills of minute taking at a senior level are essential in this role. You will also assist the Executive Assistant in preparing for high-level meetings and supporting the Executive and Senior Leader Groups in a timely and smooth manner.

Each month you would be the minute taker for one Five Rivers Child Care UK Board meeting (from 1000-1600 hours), and a two hour Five Rivers Ireland Board meeting. Biannually there are our Partners' Agency Board, a family Board meeting, and a biannual Board meeting for two sister companies. All dates would be given to you in advance.

As you would expect, this role position requires the ability to be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, efficient, calm and resilient in your approach. Your minute-taking should be accurate and clear, capturing essential points while avoiding biases and misinterpretations. You should be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is able to anticipate the needs of the team and thinks creatively to ensure the smooth running of the process. Experience in Microsoft Office (essential) and, ideally SharePoint (desirable) needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Taking minutes in Board meetings
- Organising minutes in a well-structured manner, following designated template or format, and proofread for grammatical and spelling errors before forwarding for approval.
- Handle sensitive information discussed during meetings with the utmost confidentiality and maintain data security
- Updating the Executive Assistant with all relevant information
- Understanding confidentiality issues and how this is observed and maintained
