**WHAT TO EXPECT**

We have an exciting opportunity for a lead engineer role within GME, Stamping Engineering to lead the creation, implementation & delivery of the digitalisation roadmap for Jaguar Land Rover products and all UK stamping locations.

The role will provide a combination of strategic and calculated leadership. You will be in charge of driving the vision for digitalising, streamlining, and automating business workflows within Stamping. Stakeholder management is pivotal for this role as you will often partner with customers to articulate the “What” and “Why” that drives your feature roadmap priorities and how you will collectively measure success over time. Beyond this, you will be responsible for finding the “How” projects are delivered, looking to draw on the stakeholder group and wider Jaguar Land Rover team to increase efficiency, and bring transparency to business operations.

The key output of this work will be systems, processes and environments that help Stamping deliver their KPIs more efficiently.

While based within the Stamping Engineering team, the role will also require coordination of digitalisation activities across our global press shop locations through the Technology Forum to embed best practice across the sites.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage with key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities through the introduction of digital solutions
- Ownership of the Digitalisation IBP and delivery of the Vision
- Maintain Digitalisation Roadmap, prioritising project delivery in line with Stakeholder requirements and resource availability
- Development of detailed proposals, concept creations, delivery planning and business cases as appropriate. regularly reviewing and refining with the key stakeholders
- Coordinate the development of prototype systems along with test plans and interpretation of the testing outcome
- Oversee plan activities and the refinement of the designs accordingly per the testing outcome
- Development of functional competence and coordination of technical support, training, process documentation and communications
- Coordinate cross functional teams in the planning & delivery of agreed projects
- Tracking and reporting of progress against agreed deliverables
- Reporting of work to various stakeholder groups from local management through to director level
- Analysis and reporting of key data for the area and development of reports
- Undertaking any other work as directed by your line manager in connection with your role

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Extensive experience within the Manufacturing industry (ideally Stamping)
- Demonstrates experiences of participating and leading Digital focused strategy implementation.
- Can demonstrate experience of leading a major Manufacturing programme launch or major CAPEX project.
- A track record of working collaboratively cross-functionally and leading by influencing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience of stakeholder management
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
- Strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) skill set.

**Desirable**:

- A dynamic and decisive individual, highly driven and results orientated. Able to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with strategic vision
- Strong project management capabilities with excellent execution skills and the ability to multitask
