**ABOUT THE JOB**

To provide and manage a caretaking service within allocated Police Scotland buildings as required by undertaking various tasks as directed by the Facilities Officer, which may include, but not be limited to, maintenance, porterage, cleaning and general security duties to ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and the public.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will be educated to standard grade (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. Or, equivalent experience.

You will have proven ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise a varied workload; be an effective team player; have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels; and previous experience of line managing staff.

You will have experience of M&E; maintenance procedures; and a practical awareness of H&S legislation relating to the workplace environment.

This full time post is permanent and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
