An exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside the physiotherapy team in PCH. In this role you will have the opportunity to deliver rehabilitation sessions in the local leisure Centre and be part of an innovative and supportive team. You will be involved in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with Musculoskeletal conditions.

You will carry out treatment programs under the guidance of a registered therapist in order to provide rehabilitation and other interventions to facilitate recovery. Some clerical and administration tasks will also be undertaken (e.g. keeping records, filing, photocopying). You will be expected to work independently.

A positive and organized approach to rehabilitation is essential. Good communication skills and commitment to team working within a safe, empathetic and supportive environment are also needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has previous experience as a therapy or rehabilitation assistant in an NHS or care setting.

They will be involved in assessment, progression and discharge planning of this patient group and will be expected to utilize rehabilitation programs. You will be responsible for your own caseload, working both individually and alongside other members of the team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
