Are you someone with experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school or working with children, and able to travel to Pontefract? If so, then this position to support learning in a Year 3 class in Jan 2023 could be for you

You need:or
- Experience as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
- Experience taking small groups.
- Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour.

An Ofsted rated GOOD school in Leeds need an experienced Teaching Assistant in their Year 3 class for the rest of the academic year. The school is a 2-form entry and usually have 1 Teaching Assistant spread across both year 3 classes, however there are somechildren in this year group in both classes who can be disruptive, and therefore the school feel it would be beneficial to have a Teaching Assistant placed full-time in both classes to improve their behaviour and concentration. The Year 3 teacher is very experiencedin KS2 and has taught the same year group in the school since 2020, and therefore would provide excellent support to any new member of staff in the class.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
