The role will involve:

- Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances and deadlines.
- Operating TIG welding equipment.
- Working alone or as part of a team.
- Working overtime when required.

All applicants must be competent operating all the following.
- Operating sheet metal equipment such as press tools / guillotine etc.
- Operating TIG welding equipment.
- The ability to mark out and fabricate without fixtures.
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

**Terms of reference / Job description**

One of our clients has an immediate permanent position for skilled sheet metalworkers/fabricators. Time served, capable of producing a high standard of stainless steel fabrication, TIG welding essential, other welding experience such as MIG would be an advantage. The ability to read detailed fabrication drawings is also essential and be familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems.
