**Responsibilities**:

- Execute painting and decorating tasks with precision and proficiency.
- Interpret project requirements from technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform surface preparation, painting, and finishing work to achieve desired results.
- Coordinate with project managers and colleagues to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any painting or decorating issues that arise during projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed for reporting purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a painter and decorator within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in painting techniques, color matching, and surface preparation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Health and safety certifications preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £17.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
