Grounds Person

We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Grounds Person to join our friendly team at the award-winning, Lime Wood Hotel.

Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is laid-back 5* luxury at its best, with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder at the helm of the kitchen and a wellness spa within the grounds. Our grounds teams play an essential role in ensuring Lime Wood continues to be an attractive hotel for both restaurant and overnight guests.

**About the role**:
**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Reporting to our Head Grounds Person with regards to all tasks.
- Maintain all lawns, trees and maintenance of formal boarders working harmlessly with the grounds and kitchen garden team.
- Treat lawns and ensure formal boarders are watered.
- Keep all grounds tidy, ensuring grass trimmings are raked and debris is bagged and removed away from site.
- Compliant handling of tools and equipment, ensuring health and safety measure are met.
- Handle equipment with care, ensuring safe storage of all machinery.
- Consider guests whilst working in a timely and efficient manner. Taking into consideration noise levels and obstructions.
- Interact with guests as/when required.

**About you**:
Experience as a Grounds Person / Gardener is essential. PA1 & PA6 usage and maintenance of garden machinery such as petrol strimmer's and mowers desirable.
