JOB FUNCTION

Working within a team, you will be responsible for managing our return processes from goods received through to testing. You will be required to provide support within the business, in addition to troubleshooting and alleviating problems as and when they arise. An general interest in Tech and electronics is requires as each day you will be testing 100's of return electronic items from Mobile phones, Tablets to Mobile Broadband Products from all the leading manufacturers.

We therefore require a professional, highly motivated, organised, dedicated and team-orientated person to work in this busy office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties of the Warehouse and Operations Assistant are listed below, but it is the nature of the job that each activity will have its own range of demands which he/she will be expected to meet.

GOODS IN

To provide a courteous first point of contact for all delivery personnel and third-party couriers.
To provide efficient and effective “Goods In” service in line with department best practice and ensure compliance to relevant policies and procedures.

To process paperwork accurately and efficiently in line with departmental policy and set procedures.
To ensure that the department has adequate supplies of packing materials and re-order when required.

To ensure that the Goods In/Out/ areas are kept safe, secure, clean and organised in line with company best practice.
To liaise with departments and line managers where discrepancies have been raised.

GOODS IN

Count goods in.
Identify grading of returns items.
Test and process return goods (training will be provided)

Provide information to senior staff for calculation of returns.

GENERAL

Complete annual ‘SMART’ objectives set with the line manager, which are to be reviewed on a regular basis.
The above list is not exhaustive, and the post holder will undertake other duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

You will be:
A good multi-tasker with a practical “hands-on” approach
Able to prioritise work, cope with competing deadlines and use initiative in a variety of situations
Someone who takes full responsibility and ownership for their work, ensuring follow through to always gain a positive result
Able to generate a good rapport with colleagues, customers and suppliers

Good phone manners and ability to make outward phone-calls.

Accurate in all areas of the job role

**Salary**: £21,500.00 to £24,000.00 /year

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
