**WORKING PATTERN **Full Time, Monday to Friday

**JOB PURPOSE**
- To provide first line support to users of MIS systems
- To support and maintain the data held on MIS systems.
- To assist in the data administration of college systems e.g course files and enrolment systems

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To be responsible for managing all MIS helpdesk calls and escalating any support items as and when necessary
- To set up new, amendment and close courses onto the Student Management Information System ensuring the highest data quality standards
- To assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the College's Student Management Information

System
- To assist with the Curriculum Planning process
- To assist with the production and compliance of the ILR
- To maintain the production of student ULN's and resolve any errors.
- To create, maintain the College timetable and resolve any room clashes.
- To create and maintain all course e-registers.
- Regular running of reports and uploading to external agencies as required.
- To set up new User accounts onto the Student Management Information System.
- To support with updating learner records.
- Maintain a good knowledge of the Fee Policy and support with fee related queries.
- Set up and maintain Management Information System reference data.
- To support with all other Administrative tasks appropriate to the post.

**General Duties**:

- To commit to ongoing professional development by undertaking job related training
- To contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team

5 Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly and efficiently to a AF,I variety of working situations and needs

6 Ability to work with minimum supervision and to take AF,T,I initiative in solving complex problems as they arise.

7 The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, T,I with staff at all levels, and with external organisations as required. This includes:

- ability to concisely summarise and present key information
- attention to detail and ability to spot and correct mistakes

8 Good analytical skills as necessary to interpret data and AF,I produce relevant reports.

9 Experience using sector software and data including Pro
- AF
Achieve, FIS, PDSAT, OLDC, FaLA, The Hub and LRS.

10 Excellent IT skills, particularly with regard to MIS systems and AF,T,I
MS Office(Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) packages

11 The ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines T,I without supervision, at a high level of accuracy.

**QUALIFICATION**
12 GCSE English Grade A* to C, 4- 9 or equivalent AF
