Evans & Hughes Opticians Ammanford require a Full Time Optical Assistant. Occasional cover for other practices also required.

Do you enjoy creating a unique experience for your customers? We are looking for an optical assistant to join our team. If you don’t have previous optical experience, not to worry as we can provide you with all the training and support that you need to be successful.

**The Role**
- Meeting and greeting customers offering excellent customer service
- Administration duties
- Ensuring a smooth and friendly handover to the optometrist
- Dispensing glasses
- Fitting and repairing spectacles
- Performing pre-screening eye health checks

To join us as an Optical Assistant you don’t need Optical experience, we will provide you with all the training and support you’ll need. Just bring a passion for providing the very best customer experience.

What can you expect from the role?

The role of an Optical Assistant offers more responsibility and involvement than your normal retail position. As the face of Evans & Hughes, you’re there to help customers through their journey with us - from a warm welcome, through to help with selecting the right products for their needs. You’ll get to know your customers, putting them at ease and get a real feeling of satisfaction from helping them look and feel great.

The beauty of this role is that no two days are ever the same. It is up to you to bring our brand alive through providing the best customer care every step of the way.

You’ll be quick to build a rapport with customers from booking their appointments, completing eye health screening and helping select the best eye care solutions for them.

**Salary**: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
