We are seeking someone with strong experience supporting a wider team, able to communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and complete ad-hoc duties when required. You will need to have strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and diary management experience with the use of MS Office.

**Business Overview**

Our client regulates the conduct of 50,000 firms in the UK to ensure that our financial markets are honest, competitive and fair. They work to ensure that these markets work well for individuals, for businesses and for the economy.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Diary management, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to arrange numerous meetings within tight deadlines
- Internal/external event management
- On-boarding of new joiners to the team
- Flexible, working with others to resolve conflicting priorities and deadlines in a busy office environment
- Responsibility for records management, maintaining a manual/electronic filing system
- Booking and organising travel
- Monitoring compliance standards to ensure that service standards are met
- Covering other PBS when required
- Ad-hoc projects

**Skills Required**:

- Administrative experience, including diary management using Microsoft Office
- Experience supporting a wider team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload within tight deadline
- Flexibility and a willingness to get things done
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels, both internally and external

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £19.00 per hour
