- **£33,000 to £38,000 pro-rata, dependent on experience**:

- **Part-time (Full time considered)**:

- **3 days plus per week minimum, including Saturdays preferably with some evenings and bank holiday working**:

Come and join our dynamic Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to provide a high standard of advanced Conductive Education (CE) and high quality of care to children and young people with movement disorders, due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, global developmental delay and acquired brain injury.

You will manage your own challenging caseload with varied and sometimes complex needs, undertaking assessment, intervention and evaluation through CE/therapy programmes.

With strong interpersonal skills, you will build close and effective relationships with children, families, local education authorities, NHS services and other agencies of support.

Experience of planning, implementing and delivering CE programmes as an individual and within a team is essential, along with experience of setting functional and specific targets, and measuring outcomes.

**Job Summary**
- To provide a high standard of advanced Conductive Education (CE) and high quality of care to children of all ages, including adolescents and their families, across the charity
- To facilitate integrated service delivery to include assessment and specialist therapeutic interventions
- To manage a caseload of children and their families with varied and sometimes complex needs undertaking appropriate assessment, intervention and evaluation through programmes of therapy and support to meet identified needs
- To work in a variety of settings most appropriate to the child’s needs
- To communicate effectively with a range of people including users of services and their families, education setting, local authority, NHS services as well as independent and voluntary sector partners
- To actively participate in the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) assessment and options around the child model of care
- To work closely with Local Education Authorities for additional provision of services to mainstream and special schools
- To assist with service developments, audits, fundraising and service promotion
- To supervise and delegate responsibilities to junior staff, students and therapy assistants
- To make recommendations for innovations and service-wide changes in practice and be responsible for the implementation of such change.

**General**

- Some evening/weekend/bank holiday working required
- Willing to carry out online and outreach sessions as and when needed
- Willingness to cover reception duties on occasion when working in the Centre.
