**Assistant Merchandiser**:
High Wycombe, office-based c. 4 days per week

Mint Velvet began when founders Liz Houghton and Lisa Agar-Rea set out to create an unfailingly chic collection of contemporary, great quality staples and elevated fits that they felt were missing from their wardrobes. Feeling frustrated that they couldn’t find anything they wanted to wear, or the great customer service they craved, they started fusing relaxed comfort with glamorous yet wearable fashion trends. Relaxed Glamour was born.

As an Assistant Merchandiser at Mint Velvet, you will support the Merchandiser in running departments through maximizing sales and profit opportunities, while minimising markdown spend. You will support the growth of the department by providing accurate analysis, commercial suggestions and proactive trading actions.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Support the Merchandiser to maximise the profitability of the ranges, the stores and the digital business and to deliver in-season actions to maximise profit opportunities.
- Range building, including completing historical analysis, accurately calculating line buys and ensuring accurate sizing decisions are made.
- Create and maintain an accurate intake and delivery schedule.
- Check and maintain systems for delivery performance, including dealing with deliveries which are out of tolerance.
- Complete weekly analysis of department, product and store performance in order to establish trading patterns.
- Identify best and worst sellers and make recommendations.
- Provide relevant analytics to support commercial decisions, taking appropriate action to influence the achievement of business goals.
- Manage MAA daily activity, workload and priorities and delegate effectively, whilst creating learning opportunities.
