Pet Sitter

Cosy Care pet sitting has been providing an established client base with first class pet care for the past 10 years. We are looking to find an additional person to join the Cosy Care family as a part time pet sitter, covering our weekend bookings.

Please also be aware that working hours and therefore wage may vary greatly at certain times of the year. Pet sitting bookings can be somewhat seasonal, with quieter times over the winter months becoming extremely busy over the summer. The opportunity for extra hours during the week or holiday cover may be available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-home pet care services for clients animals while they are away
- Feed, water, and socialise with pets according to their specific needs
- Administer medication or treatments as instructed by pet owners
- Clean up after pets, including litter boxes and waste removal
- Provide basic grooming such as brushing when required
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report to owners
- Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for pets at all times acting respectfully in clients home

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care is preferred with high animal welfare/care standards
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and securely when needed
- Knowledge of basic pet first aid and CPR is a plus (if not training will be provided)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting eg cat litter/animal feed/unwell animals

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
