Export Coordinator

An experienced export coordinator is required for a long established freight forwarder based in Liverpool city centre. Working full time hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Salary dependent upon experience.

Expected duties include, but not limited to:

- Negotiate with suppliers and provide customers with competitive export quotes in sea freight, air freight and European road freight.
- Book with suppliers and confirm booking details to clients.
- Arrange customs clearance / VGM
- Issue shipping instructions
- Liaise with foreign agents and provide pre-alerts
- Ensure bills of lading are correct and sent out in a timely manner
- Ensure completed files are invoiced in a timely manner and filed accordingly

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of export shipments via sea, air and road
- Strong knowledge of international trade practices, regulations, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients from different cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
