**Live-in | £35,000 - £40,000**

**Overview**

Our client is looking for a multi-skilled Handyman to carry out day-to-day maintenance duties across multi-properties close to Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

The Handyman will report into the Housekeeper.

**Job duties**
- Responsibilities of the Handyman near Marlow include:_
- Work under the Housekeeper’s guidance to maintain properties to a high standard
- Perform or manage routine maintenance tasks including decorating, carpentry, furniture assembly, tiling, plumbing, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and external repairs
- Assist with regular upkeep tasks like dusting, vacuuming, and checking water outlets
- Ensure heating, hot water, and pump systems are functioning optimally
- Coordinate swimming pool maintenance with external contractors
- Arrange and oversee service for boilers, pumps, electrics, and air conditioning
- Manage pest control measures
- Respond to gate intercom at one of the properties
- Notify security of contractors arriving on-site
- Coordinate window cleaning with the Housekeeper
- Check and oversee work carried out by external contractors
- Arrange emergency repairs for utilities and security systems
- Manage maintenance, refurbishment, and redevelopment projects with approved suppliers (within an approved budget)
- Occasionally serve as a chauffeur for family members
- Communicate with family members to address their needs
- Support family staff with necessary tools and supplies
- Collaborate with other Estate employees to ensure smooth operations
- Assist Housekeeper in maintaining petty cash accounts and compiling annual property budgets

The Handyman will have use of a company van for errands and job responsibilities.
- Experience in a similar role for a large private household, or multiple properties
- A clean driving licence
- Hard-working and self-motivated
- Good initiative and be a team player

**Accommodation**

2-bedroom apartment (utilities covered by the Estate)

**Hours**

Full-time.

In season (June to September): 60 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
Out of season: 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday)

Overtime paid for exceeded weekly hours or can be used to accumulate holiday in lieu

**Location**

Near Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

**Salary + additional info**

Live-in: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
Live-out: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Auto-enrollment into company pension after probation.
20 days’ holiday per year plus Bank Holidays (please note, only one week’s holiday can be taken ‘in season’)
