**Transport Co-Ordinator**
**Job Profile**:
Effectively route all tankers daily, ensuring that we meet customer expectations whilst maintaining efficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- To follow, promote and enforce relevant Company policies and procedures
- Working _collaboratively_ with colleagues to follow, promote and enforce all relevant Company policies and procedures
- Perform daily routing of all tankers, maximising transport efficiencies whilst remaining customer-focused
- Bring forward ideas on how to maximise and improve upon transport efficiencies for consideration by the Transport Operations Manager and General Manager
- Contact customers to advise of delivery dates/times to support service experience
- Liaise with sales team colleagues on delivery queries
- Perform all customer top-up orders. Entering orders on the system and liaising with both customers and drivers regarding their frequency
- Deal with all driver queries regarding deliveries and being their first point of contact for any planning enquiries
- Monitor stock levels at all depots, re-ordering fuel as instructed by the General Manager
- Collate and analyse daily fuel prices and terminal allocations
- Take overflow calls from customers, taking messages for Sales Team colleagues to contact
- Liaise with the Transport Operations Manager on vehicle maintenance and industry compliance matters
- Provide daily update to the team on vehicles, drivers, areas etc.
- Provide cover for taking vehicles to repairers to support with operational activities
- Monitor additive stock levels and reorder as and when required
- Monitor driver stationery stock levels and reorder as and when required
- Monitor driver daily check sheets and audit to ensure compliance, raising any matters appropriately
- Provide cover for stock reconciliation duties
- Provide cover for driver’s hours - reviewing and recording for payroll processing and FTA analysis
- Perform daily walk around check of yard and offices and record findings
- Through your customer interactions, you will work together with colleagues to achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 95%.
**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:
- Take suitable care and have suitable respect for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions
- Co-operate to enable WCF to discharge its own H&S responsibilities successfully
- Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with any checklists, instructions, safe systems of work, safety rules/procedures, regulations or codes of practice
- Use only the correct tools/equipment for the job and ensure that a visual inspection is carried out before use (if applicable). Do not use any that are unsafe or damaged. All tools, equipment and personal protective equipment must be stored in the approved place after use
- Report any accident, near-miss, unsafe practice or dangerous condition immediately
- Suggest safe ways of eliminating hazards
- Do not participate in horseplay or place fellow employees in danger by your actions
Furthermore, all employees must:
- Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice
- If aware of any unsafe practice or condition, or if in any doubt about the safety of any situation, consult their Line Manager
- Obtain and use the correct tools/equipment for the work and not to use any that are unsafe or damaged. All tools, equipment and personal protective equipment must be stored in the approved place after use
- Ensure that all guards are securely fixed and that all safety equipment and personal protective clothing/equipment provided are used
- Not to operate any plant or equipment unless authorised
- To report any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence or dangerous condition to their Line Manager
- To switch off and secure unattended plant or equipment
- To avoid improvised arrangements and suggest safe ways of eliminating hazards
- Not to participate in horseplay or place fellow employees in danger by their actions
