Purpose Statement: To perform visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board and High Level assemblies in accordance with IPC 610 standards and product build documentation. Also to perform production line audits using predetermined checklists to ensure conformance to Build Methods; ESD standards; good practice and housekeeping protocols. To provide real-time feedback to Focus Factory on findings to instigate containment and improvement activity.

Key Job Accountabilities:

- Product and Process Audit to assure conformance to customer requirements and build standards.
- Record findings in appropriate data collection systems.
- Preparation of basic reports and feedback of information to Focus Factory Teams.
- Contribute to inventory/data accuracy through accurate booking of yield data and transfer of physical product.
- Identify non-conforming product for re-work or repair, control segregation, return of product and re-inspection of repaired product to ensure product meets original standards.
- Interrogate defect systems and build information including historical issues to assess risks and provide a focus for inspection activity.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ensure adherence to good production control and good manufacturing practice (GMP) by monitoring of product identification and tracking with online and hard copy systems.

Additional Accountabilities:

- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

- Basic Secondary Education to Standard Grade level.
- Any technical qualification or previous experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Environment.
- Soldering skills, Component and polarity Recognition skills.
- Work-based learning would be advantageous.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

- Sound understanding of IPC 610 build standards.
- Experience of working in a dynamic factory environment.
- Computer literate, ability to collect and analyze data.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, ability to use own initiative
- High level of flexibility as shift working and overtime may be required.

- The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
