**Key Duties/Responsibilities**
- Assisting with on-going planning and team development of the F&B Department.
- Ensuring that on-going training and development of F&B Assistants
- Maintaining good levels of communication by leading and organizing regular team meetings, briefings and one to one reviews.
- To produce an effective and cost efficient regular rota of service staff which addresses all the needs of the business in conjunction with the F&B Manager
- To deliver specific F&B staff briefings/debriefings for service detail planning & reinforcing standards
- To ensure standards of procedure are carried out in relation to stock control, health and safety and all operational procedures
- Liaise with Manager to ensure an effective health & safety plan exists in the department with a particular emphasis on hygiene management in the Kitchen.
- Oversee stock management and goods ordering systems within Food & Beverage service and Kitchen areas, including stock-takes & reports, transfer systems and till management - ensuring regulated and disciplined practices through key personnel in each area.
- To ensure, within the scope of daily working, the consistent ambiance, presentation and comfort of all F&B Service areas
- To manage the day to day operation in all areas of Conference, events, weddings, and Food and beverage outlets throughout the property.
- To promote and support the conference centre-wide awareness amongst all reporting staff, and to exemplify this through occasional personal liaising with Front-of-House/Conference Services
- To deputise in full for the F&B Manager, as and when required
- To undertake on call duties on a rota basis as agreed.
- To attend meetings on behalf of the operations manager whenever absent
- To be part of the DM rota on a continuous basis
- Any other tasks deemed necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
