Preliminary Cell Machinist

PRELIM CELL MACHINIST - TIVERTON
**Duties**:

- The process manufacturing of scheduled plans, both written and verbal, to include cutting, straightening and chemical finishing of our precision slides for both stock and customer orders
- Machines in use: cutting saws, straightening press, and bending press, hardening and blacking cell
Skills required:

- Basic knowledge of metalwork and related properties
- Mechanical skills including cutting and straightening
- Experience of manual handling and lifting techniques
- Ability to differentiate between product types
- Fully understand and follow instructions both written and verbal
- Current Counterbalance Cat B licence is an advantage, however training can be provided to obtain this certificate
- Attention to detail
Only basic experience is necessary as we will train you in specific job functions and requirements. Training in the specific use of machines will also be given.

NIGHTS
Monday - Thursday 16:00 - 02:00
Friday: 16:00 - 01:00
39h per week
OR DAYS
Monday - Thursday 19:00 - 04:00
Friday 07:00 - 12:00
39h per week
Pay rate: negotiable, depending on experience.
