**This advert is only for those who are leaving school in the summer and have a break before college, or want to get some work experience during their summer holidays before returning to school in the Autumn.**

We can also consider those at University who may be on holiday, but would need written proof from your University of your availability for full time work. Right to Work checks will also be completed before any offers are made.

**Production Operatives** work within our factory, preparing fresh from the field vegetables to fulfil customer orders. No previous experience of working within a food processing environment is required, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for a ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to learn something new There are plenty of development opportunities available for those who are school leavers. We do so much more than “just sort carrots” - what is involved may come as a surprise to you **If you are under 18, you will be paid the same rate as everyone else**.

**Weekly paid role**
**£10.42 per hour**
**£13.03 per hour overtime**
plus shift allowance on backshifts

**What does the job involve?**:

- Staffing the production lines, working with state-of-the-art machinery
- Quality control of incoming fresh produce
- Grading and sizing produce
- Preparing certain produce by hand
- Working within our Ready to Cook and Ready to Eat production areas
- Weighing, labelling, packing

**Training for new starts including**

**The Recruitment Process**

**For Under 18's, we offer a set Shift Pattern**

Week 1 : Tues, Weds, Thurs 0700 - 1400
Fri 0700 - 1600 - 27.5 hours in total

Week 2 : Mon 0700 - 1600
Tues, Weds 1430 - 2200
Thurs 1430 - 2030 - 27.5hrs in total

Under 18’s can work up to 40 hours per week, not starting prior to 7am and not after 10pm. No night shifts and no more than 8 hours a day. As our shift patterns are 25hrs per week, if you wish to work up to the maximum, this can be discussed.
