Your new company
You will be working as a Cover Supervisor for Secondary Schools across South Wales. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area a number of opportunities have arisen. These Cover Supervisor opportunities are on a long-term or daily supply coverbasis.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. Working as a cover supervisor can be very demanding but equallyrewarding. The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set by an absent teacher. Your role and responsibilities as a cover supervisor will also include:

- Effectively communication the work set by the absent teacher to students
- Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking set work
- Responding to any questions from pupils
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies which may arise

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role of Hays Education Cover Supervisor it is essential you have:

- Experience in working with children in group sizes of 10+ in which we can reference.
- The ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behavior
- The ability to build good relationships
- To aid your ongoing success within this role it is desirable that you are:

- High adaptable as there is no regular timetable
- Confident and organised
