Based from their purpose built premises in Ebbw Vale they deliver a nationwide service providing a complete multi-utility solution.

Due to expansion within the business and awards of multiple new contracts, DT Civils Ltd are now recruiting for an additional chlorinator to enable the successful delivery of their ambitious growth plans.

The Job

Water Chlorinator / Pressure Tester required for work on various sites around the UK, this role is based in South Wales but will involve some staying away.

The Job

Key Responsibilities:

- Work safely always wearing relevant PPE
- Use only approved tools and equipment
- Install Test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure as instructed working to standards and codes of practice, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions
- Have a full and comprehensive understanding of, chlorinating and sampling procedures
- Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager
- Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
- Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
- Attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required
- Record accurately details of work undertaken
- Submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale
- Collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescales
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Project Manager that fall within the general experience scope of the individual

- Manual Handling
- Operating Pressure testing equipment
- Operating chlorination/dichlorination equipment
- Working on development sites
- Driving
- Identify and understand utility plans
- Input pressure test data and analyse results using approved software

Minimum qualifications/Experience:

- Experience of chlorinating and testing of mains from a diameter of 63mm to 355mm
- NRSWA certificate for operatives
- Water Network Safety Passport
- Water Hygiene
- Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling
- Full valid driving licence

This role is a permanent position offering a good salary, company vehicle, company pension, death in service benefits and an annual company bonus (based on company performance). **Salary**: £37,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
