Our core expertise is behaviour-modifying insect pheromone lures and non-toxic bio-pesticides. We have pioneered a number of new technologies for agriculture, pest control and public health, including smart IoT-connected monitoring products._

The purpose of the role of **Production Assembly/Small Machine Operative **is to produce goods through running small machinery, general assembly, operating small machines ans packing and re-packing of all ranges of company products in accordance with company’s production planning to agreed specification within economic time scales.

**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Operate small production machines and comply with machine maintenance schedules.
- Labelling, folding, packaging, shrink wrapping and counting company products.
- Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
- Follow batch orders & monitor work practices to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Adhere to quality procedures as in process instructions and process records.
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.
- Work as an individual or as part of a team, in both cases to ensure optimum efficiency
- Report to Production Manager in event of any problems that are or could prevent efficient or continual production.
- The ability to communicate effectively and confidently, both written and oral at all levels.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Willing to learn.
- You will be organised and a quick thinker.
- Possess a good eye for detail and quality.
- The ability to work well under pressure is also essential for this role.
- Must be flexible to work extra hours and change shifts when required.

**Rate of pay and hours**:

- Alternating Morning and afternoon shifts (Mornings: 5:45am - 13:15pm Monday to Friday. Afternoons: 13:15pm - 23:00pm Monday to Wednesday, 13:15pm - 21:30pm Thursday, off Friday.)
- 37.5 hours per week but further additional hours may be required
- Flexibility is essential

Pay: £26,356.20 per year
