**Job Title**:Trainee Independent Financial Adviser

**Hours of Work**:Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.15 (36.25 hours)

**Salary**:Dependent Upon Qualifications and Experience

**The role**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To work under supervision initially to gain experience of the role.
- To qualify to Diploma level (if not already qualified) and go on to gain Chartered status.
- To work with Partners and Fee Earners to develop new financial services business and build up a personal caseload.
- To ensure work complies with the Firms policies, FCA regulations and best practice.

**Person Specification**

**Qualifications**
- **Essential**_
- Good grades at GCSE and A Level
- Working towards Diploma or part qualified financial services qualification
- Driving Licence (and transport as some travel will be required to other offices and to see clients)
- **Desirable**_
- Degree level education with a 2:1 or above and a relevant financial, economics or law degree would be an advantage

**Knowledge**

- Relevant industry experience
- A passionate interest in financial services

- A good understanding or demonstrable interest in Investments, Pensions, Protection and Equity Release
- Experience of using Intelligent Office
- Para-planning experience
