A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a self motivated individual to join the fundraising team of a highly respected charity. The Fundraiser will be the central point of contact for all non-grant supporters of the charity, including all those who have given,or might give, to the charity.

**Salary**: £30000 - £35000

Location: High Wycombe

Work structure: Hybrid - 3 days in office (South Bucks Hospice in High Wycombe) and 2 from home, plus varied community

Some evening and weekend work will be essential related to the nature of fundraising events

The Job
- Working alongside the Chief Executive, Trustees, and colleagues to plan and deliver supporter care for:
i) Individual Donors

ii) In-Memorium Fundraisers and Families

iii) Fundraisers raising money via events and challenges

iv) Prospective and current legacy pledgers

v) People, organisations and businesses donating and raising money in the community e.g. local corporate branches, golf clubs and rotary clubs
- Develop and implement supporter journeys to these target audiences, helping to optimise their fundraising and their donation potential. This will include generating thank you letters; developing and sending welcome packs; support for fundraising with materialsand resources; providing updates to those who give, demonstrating the impact they are having; calling and meeting supporters face to; inviting supporters to meet with colleagues from the charity
- Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities, partnerships and activities
- Identify opportunities to raise awareness of the charity including giving talks and attending local networking events
- Manage administration and thanking of individual donors, fundraisers and community organisations on our database in compliance with GDPR standards and the Fundraising Regulator's best practice
- Develop and maintain processes to capture data about relationships, fundraising activity and communications e.g. Just Giving and Supporter Journey; Donation Platform Data Management; Facebook Fundraisers; Collecting Tin / Payment Slip Spreadsheet

The Person
- Customer-facing experience of at least 2 years - where providing a service, giving service-users a product has been a core task.
- Experience of being a charity supporter or experience in working in a campaign environment
- Excellent oral and written English and in particular the ability to prepare good written communications and general correspondence.
- Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and learn CRM inputting and reporting methods are key to this role
- Passionate about well being and equality issues
- Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
- Mature and flexible approach
- Team player with a willingness to 'pitch-in'
