Background to the Role
As part of our ongoing development, we are now seeking to complement our ecology team with experienced Senior and Principal Ecologists.
Working with our existing team of Ecologists and environmental planning experts, you will support, manage and deliver committed projects and contribute to the development of ITPEnergised’s related offering.
This is a great opportunity to support the growth of an exciting consulting business working alongside a highly experienced team.
**Responsibilities**:
Your role and areas of focus will depend on your skills and experience, but will primarily entail:
- Assuming project management responsibility on ecology projects, or task management for ecological or ornithological elements on larger multi-disciplinary projects.
- Undertaking ecology survey work as required and appropriate.
- Undertaking or overseeing the delivery of EcIA and stand-alone ecological assessments.
- Authoring ecology assessment reports and technical chapters.
- Preparing scopes of work and costs for input to proposals, as necessary.
- As the business requires, assisting in delivery of other related environmental assessments, commensurate with experience and technical understanding.
- Contributing to business development, including initiating and participating in client meetings, networking events, conferences and seminars.
Work Location

You may be asked to attend meetings at our office locations, or travel to clients’ offices or sites as project work requires. This may include international travel, where necessary.
Outline Remuneration Offer
- Salary: DOE
- Pension: 5% EE contribution / 5% staff contribution
- Holidays: 25 days (including 3 days over Christmas and New Year), plus 9 public holidays (pro rata)
