Your new role
Cover relief shifts for permanent support workers
Understand and implement carefully thought out individual care plans
Ensure the safety and confidentiality of those you support, adhering to safeguarding regulation and GDPR
Recognising actual or potential challenging situations and navigating this through correct procedure
Building strong rapport with the children you support
Engaging in fun, active and educational activities to nurture independence and confidence
Provide a safe, welcoming and homely atmosphere
Aiding those you support with their day-to-day tasks, which may include elements of personal care
General housekeeping
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 6 months social care experience in the last two years
Compassion, empathy, self
- motivation and resilience
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Excellent use of a range of communication methods
Full UK License is desired not essential
