- **Trainer - Operational shift pattern 10 am until 6 pm**
**The Person**:
Are you experienced in food manufacturing/operations with a strong focus on Health, safety, and people development?
Ideally, you will have the ability to build strong relationships and be a collaborative team player, effective organiser, and planner.
**The Role**:
This role will be focussed on managing training competency assessments using Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s)
Developing & upskilling WARP Factory staff in all legal health, safety, and compliance training.
As part of the onsite operational training team, you will be responsible for the administration of all training material paperwork and uploading of all employee's training records via our LMS System.
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to requests and conduct competency assessments and sign off training for all staff, including CCPs
- Review and re-rain competency assessments on previously signed-off staff at the required frequencies
- Complete various administrative tasks, including paperwork, audits, and general computer work
- Support and complete any amendment training as required by management or needs of the business
- Support the learning and Development department to ensure it is audit-ready at all times
- Demonstrate the Values in everything you do and ensure they are embedded into the Training process
- Complete any personal development training to improve or assist with the role
- Complete all sign-off paperwork promptly and process ready to be saved to individual digital training folders
- Attend weekly L&D meetings to communicate weekly training figures and planned assessments.
**Requirements**:
- As one of the Operational site training team you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A positive, consistent, and fair approach
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- Effective planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- both Verbal and written
- Basic IT skills
- Experience working in the food industry (Not essential)
- Teaching or training experience (Not essential)
- Grade C or above in Maths and English is essential ( or equivalent)
