CNC Machinist

Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing Division are working exclusively with a busy precision engineering machine shop based in Sheffield to recruit a number of CNC Machinists due to business expansion. This is a great opportunity tojoin a progressive business who are a leading player in the precision aerospace sector.
This role will work a rotational shift pattern including days and nights.
Duties of the CNC Machinist include:

- Setting and running multi-axis CNC machinery
- Progress manufacture in line with a production schedule
- Inspection of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
Skills & Experience for the CNC Machinist:

- Apprentice-trained CNC Machinist or time-served experience in a precision engineering machine shop
- A working knowledge of FANUC controls is advantageous
- High level of attention to detail
- Pro-active, with an eagerness to learn and develop
