Mechanical Assembler

We have been appointed to recruit for an exciting opportunity for a leading manufacturer in their field, who due to growth are looking to recruit for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join their growing team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsiblefor supporting the manufacturing team to build bespoke systems.

This role would suit an individual from assembly, assembly technician, mechanical assembly and mechanical fitting background.

As a Mechanical Assembler for our client you duties will include;
- Assembly bespoke machinery in the workshop prior to dispatch
- Mechanical assembly/ fitting of bearings, belts, conveyor, bearings and chains)
- Working from assembly drawings
- Using 3D CAD to assemble items
- Manage and keep stocks lists updated, liaising with stores so BOM’s are accurate
- Complete quality checks throughout projects and builds

The successful Mechanical Assembler will require;
- Experience working with Pneumatics, motors and bearings
- NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as a team
