PHP Developer

We are supporting an internationally re-known research company to recruit an strong PHP Developer. The company has over 2500 scientist with a strong, experienced IT team to support. This role will based in their modern offices based in the Norwich Countryside.Easily accessible with free parking.
This will require a competent and confident PHP Developer who will work closely with the IT team to successfully lead the development for the new company websites and will manage the portfolio ensuring each aspect is running to maximum performance.
Minimum skills required:

- 5+ years commercial experience as a Developer.
- Experience working within a team of developers, designers and UAT testers.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to deliver quality solutions within a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter attitude with ability to problem solve.
- Ability to follow standards as defined by the IT group.
- Able to write function tests.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- PHP
- MySQL
- HTML5 and CSS
- Data exchange with multiple backends utilising JSON, XML etc.
- JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery and AJAX
- Java
- JWT (JSON web tokens)
- Website optimisation, particularly to Google standards
- Code debugging and error resolution
- Code control tools such as Git
