Junior Buyer

**Our client based in Thatcham is looking to hire a Junior Buyer. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity to start immediately.**

**Hours of Work**:

- 08:00am - 16:00pm
- Monday to Friday

**Salary**:

- Circa £25,000 per annum (DOE)

**Duties Required**:

- Purchasing and forecasting of raw materials.
- Ensuring reasonable cost and delivering them in a time effective manner.
- Interpreting basic technical drawings to ascertain parts required to make and deliver the end product.
- Negotiating, maintaining, and improving terms with key suppliers.

**Skills Required**:

- Good knowledge of BOMs and MRP
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Experience working within a buying or procurement role
- Organised and meticulous approach to your role
