Duties:

- To receive, evaluate and process all damage claims with respect to client base
- To determine liability of claims and act accordingly.
- Arrange independent surveys as and when required.
- Communicate with claim originators with respect to acceptance/rejection of claims.
- Maintain and update relevant databases with respect to claims
- Produce monthly statistical damage reports and distribute the same.
- Liaise with terminal management and inspectors regarding claim hot spots and outliers.
- Coordinate production of monthly invoices from accounts received.
- Maintain daily liaison with insurers with regard to transit damage claims.
- Manage all aspects of the Company vehicle fleet including supply, replacement, maintenance and legality.
- Maintain regular maintenance and mileage logs of all company vehicles.
- Ensure that all hired minibuses are in a serviceable condition by liaison and appropriate hire companies.
- Maintain data on accidents involving Company vehicles and liaise with insurers/repairers as appropriate.
- Source accident repairs with regard to the best option for the Company.
- Ensure that Company breakdown cover is maintained for all vehicles.
- Supply, Control and maintain all trade plates used within the Company
- Maintain and update database with respect to the importation of vehicles inspection in order to facilitate the work of the claim handlers
- Arrange replacement trade licenses at yearly frequency.

- Adhere to stated policies relating to health and safety and quality/environmental management.

Authorities:

- Authority is given to administer all duties relating to the post described above
