**Chartered Building Surveyor - Hatton Garden, London - £45,000 - £65,000**

My client, a successful property consultancy firm, are looking for a Building Surveyor to join their team in Central London.

**Duties**:

- Providing a building surveying service to the required objectives on quantum and service.
- That you manage your work in an effective and economic manner.
- That key clients are contacted on a regular basis to ensure positive working relationships and trust.
- Supporting the team where they have a responsibility for training and performance of an assistant
- That RICS professional standards and practice are maintained.
- That you progress your learning and development goals in a timely manner.
- That client needs, expectations and concerns are clearly identified by effective questioning.
- That accurate and appropriately priced quotes are provided to clients within the required timescales to meet the target number.
- That building defects are accurately diagnosed and that trails are thoroughly investigated.
- Including full photographic evidence and comprehensive site notes.
- That thorough and accurate surveys are conducted on site to the required standard and within required timescales.
- That clients are kept informed of progress at each key stage to the required standard.
- That reports are coherent, credible and have a logical flow.
- That Expert Witness Reports are prepared to the required forensic standards within required timescales.

**Skills and Experience required**:

- That you present a professional image at all times, both in the office and to clients and to be an ambassador for the company.
- That you understand the consequences of your actions for the company and to actively share responsibility with the Directors / Managers / Supervisors for the success of the company.
- That you treat all colleagues fairly, working according to the principles of equal opportunity as outlined the Employee Handbook.
- That you are willing to work in excess of usual working hours when the balance of the company’s work or allocated responsibilities requires this. We do not expect excessive working hours, rather we require flexibility when there is a clear benefit to the company.
- That you are aware of basic employment and health and safety law.

**Salary**:_£45,000 - £65,000 Dependant on experience_
**Hours**:_Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30_
