Domus have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Health and Social Care professional to join a regional care provider as a Registered Manager in Bromley, Kent.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead an ambitious staff team within a residential service for up to 10 adults with Mental Health needs. The adults supported will have a background of Substance Misuse or an Acquired Brain Injury.
We are looking for someone with previous experience at management level in the sector (Deputy, Service or Registered), who is able to demonstrate a track record in motivating and managing staff, together with a clear understanding of leadership responsibilitiesin social care.
**Key Responsibilities of aRegistered Manager**:

- To engage with the service-user client base - predominantly adult residents (aged 18 to 65) with acquired brain injury and / or a history of substance misuse
- Hold legal responsibility for one or more registered home and manage all aspects of the efficient running of the home or homes and maintain compliance with CQC regulatory requirements, Fundamental Standards and other applicable legislation within the homeor homes.
- Assess, plan and provide for the needs of the people in his/her care through the care planning system and ensure all staff are working to the agreed care plan.
- Work constructively as part of trans-disciplinary service team (TDT) to ensure care and support plans are regularly reviewed and consistently and realistically meet the needs of service users, while maximizing service users’ personal strengths and skillsto achievepositive and agreed outcomes
- Ensure all plans meet statutory, commissioning and organisational requirements including cost-efficiency.
- Provide leadership, management and supervision for a staff team in accordance with care plan needs.
- Ensure that person centered approaches are developed and implemented across the company which place the needs of service users at the heart of service delivery.

**Registered ManagerRequirements**:

- Management experience within the Health and Social Care, supporting adults with Acquired Brain Injuries, Mental Health needs and/or Learning Disabilities;
- Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this;
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of the current CQC care standards in order to help ensure our service is Safe, Caring, Effective, Responsive and Well-led;
- Computer literate, with good levels of written and verbal communication;
- Experience of note-taking, to provide meaningful records of meetings with staff, residents and their families, and outside agencies;
- Caring, patient and approachable, able to work with sensitivity as well as urgency where necessary;
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality is essential;
- Experience of managing training and HR issues, and be familiar with safe recruitment processes;
- Flexible and able to prioritise their workload, sometimes under pressure, in an extremely busy setting.
- The successful applicant will be based in Kent.
