About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) Safeguarding Team for experienced Senior Assessment and Enablement Workers with experience and knowledge of safeguarding to join our friendly team on a **fixed term contract for 10 months.**
We are seeking hard working, experienced AEWs, or similar, who appreciate a challenge, are proactive and can think creatively. You must be able to work effectively with other agencies and organisations and have good problem-solving skills.
What will you be doing?
The team receives all Safeguarding referrals for adults where there are concerns that abuse or neglect may have occurred / be occurring within the boundaries of North Northamptonshire that identify the alleged source of risk as a provider or a paid professional within that setting.
Utilising good communication and listening skills you will be working to safeguard allocated individuals to understand their situation, challenges, and the outcomes that they wish to achieve through Making Safeguarding Personal.

You will need to be a good decision maker, able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure, exercising professional curiosity rather than take things at face value.
