We have an exciting opportunity for 2 people to join our company and establish a career. You'll be working at one of Network Rail's busiest stations (Waterloo) on a flag-ship project. We are looking for 2 x Labourers who have an appetitie to grow and develop with us.

- You'll be working on. (what your role and responsibility is)
- **Material Handling**:Assist in the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment around work sites.
- **Equipment Operation**: Safely operate various tools, machinery, and equipment required for construction and maintenance tasks.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- **Team Collaboration**:Work collaboratively with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and supervisors, to achieve project objectives within established timelines.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment usage, material consumption, and project progress, and report any issues or concerns to your direct report promptly.
- **Quality Assurance**: Adhere to company quality standards and ensure that all work is performed to meet or exceed industry regulations and specifications.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to rail construction and maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety procedures and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards in a rail construction environment.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in different locations, shifts, and weather conditions as required.
- ‘Can do' attitude, energetic, polite and professional.

You'll bring(your wealth of experience & qualifications)

**Experience and knowledge**:

- Experience of working on a construction site (essential)
- Experience of working in a role where you can work to task, follow instruction and where safety is paramount (Essential)
- Good communication skills
- IT skills including knowledge of word and Excel
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy: Sufficient reading, writing, and mathematical skills to comprehend instructions, complete necessary paperwork, and perform basic calculations.

**Qualifications**:

- Have an interest in working towards an industry recognised qualification
- Personal Track Safety / Highways Passport (desirable)
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Certification
- IPAF Competency, 1a, 1b, 3a, 3b (desirable)
- Slinger / Signaller ticket (desirable)
