**Transport Administrator Role**

**The Company**: Supplychain21 Ltd is a small freight forwarding business that specialises in transport and haulage for the drinks industry and is looking to continue to expand over the coming years.

**The Role**: Primarily responsible for looking after the UK domestic transport operations of the business. The position is full time, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 and based in Market Harborough.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receiving orders from customers and booking transport with third party suppliers to fulfil the orders.
- Data entry, keeping an accurate record of: all orders, movement guarantee entries, stock movements, supplier insurance renewals, AWRS records and PODS.
- Liaising with warehouses / start / end delivery points where necessary in order to complete orders.
- Proactively managing and resolving operational issues when they occur and providing clear communication to both customers and suppliers on the day as required.
- Creating and sending the weekly sales invoices.
- Processing supplier invoices and resolving an invoice queries.
- Chasing late payers.
- Setting up new customers and suppliers on the system.
- Providing holiday and sickness cover for team members.
- Performing additional administrative tasks for specific customer / company needs.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Good organisation skills - the ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively.
- Detail orientated - a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Customer service experience - the ability to successfully build and maintain relationships is vital.
- Problem solver - the role requires the ability to logically solve problems and not get flustered under pressure.
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience is essential.

Previous experience in the Transport Industry would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
